EV Center of America is an authorized distributor of Coda Electric Cars in the United States and the exclusive distributor in Asia. We are an exclusive trainer and technical support for the existing Coda electric cars in the United States.

After Coda Automotive Corporation filed Chapter 11 reorganization plan, all assets of its electric car division has been sold to our partner, who is offering Coda Electric Car for sale at a substantial discount. The original cars were priced around $40,000 plus fees depending on options.
Now you can own the 2013 Coda Electric Car for almost a half of the original price i.e. about $20,000 to $22,000 (before taxes and fees) depends of options, while supplies last.
Electric motor power is provided by UQM®PowerPhase® 100 manufactured in Colorado. The UQM®PowerPhase® 100 electric propulsion system delivers 100 kilowatts (134 horsepower) of peak power, 300 newton meters (221 pound feet) of peak torque and a peak system efficiency of 94%, all in a small 280 millimeter (11 inch) diameter by 252 millimeter (10 inch) long package.
The transaxle is a Borg-Warner Gear Reduction, also USA produced. A Lear 6.6 kW charging system is standard as well as the Alpine Navigation system. In fact most of the drive train was USA built and the car it self was originally designed by Pininfarina and produced in plants in Europe and in Asia.

The battery pack is built by Lishen who is one of the world's largest manufacturers of lithium-ion cells and a key supplier to Apple, Motorola, Samsung and Vodafone, among others. Even Porsche Design Studios had a significant role in various upgrades.
In short, this is a nice size car with five passenger seating, eco-cloth seating or optional leather seating surfaces. It has a stated range of 125 miles (depending on terrain, climate and other factors) and charging is easy with either the included 120V home charger or for the 240V Level 2 charging station.
We have a good selection of cloth and optional leather vehicles in stock in various colors and are ready for delivery.
